It was a nightclub owned and operated by Edwin Smalls during the Harlem Renaissance era.

 

It was highly successful and the most famous in Harlem at the time.

 

The Cotton club

The Cotton Club is a old hall concert , jazz and dance club in the Harlem neighborhood.

 

In operation during and after Prohibition, the club was for a long time reserved for whites, however today it is open to everyone.

 

So if you like listening to jazz, gospel, salsa and Latin jazz music over brunch or dinner and dance, it is the right place to go.


The Apollo theatre

The Apollo Theater is a famous theater in the Harlem neighborhood. It has become a symbol of the development of black music in the United States.

 

Today, this theater organizes evenings whose goal is to bring on stage young talents that are still unknown. This evening is called "Amateur Night".
