Marcus Samuelson

Marcus Samuelson has had a very successful story. He born in Ethiopia and worked as a chef in Aquavit when he was 24. However 6 years later, the events of  9/11 made him rethink his professional life.  So he opened the Red Rooster, his own restaurant in Harlem. He was inspired by the culture of the African-American neighbourhood. Finally he became famous thanks to the TV show Top Chef which allowed him to be employed for President Obama's first state dinner.
